steeped in memory, meaning, and discovery

We publish books meant to bring you home to yourself.

From thoughtfully curated guides to children’s stories, poetry, and cozy fiction,

we make books that invite reflection, imagination, and something quietly enchanted.

Our books

Our favorite books are the kind that feel like an afternoon on the porch sipping tea, a cozy chat with a friend at the kitchen table, or a quiet evening under your favorite blanket, the fireplace crackling in the background.

We’re drawn to work that moves at a human pace: mindful, honest, brimming with wonder.

Our list includes:

  • Guides for reflecting and remembering

  • Inspirational literature for the seeker in all of us—drawn from paths both ancient and new.

  • Children’s books with heart or humor

  • Collections of poetry and essays

  • The occasional romance (including some with a little heat)

  • Place-based or character-driven fiction

Many of our books are born here, in-house, alongside our mug collections and manuscript stacks. We also collaborate with writers whose work feels at home with our vision, bringing fresh perspectives and stories into the Mayfair Storyhouse family.

Alongside publishing, we offer a suite of professional services to support authors at every stage.

Where the story began

Yes, Mayfair Storyhouse was a real place.

Imagine a 1950s Cape Cod-style home with a stone facade and a flower-lined path. Mom planted hydrangeas and tomatoes, and the backyard featured wild blackberries and a swing set, neighboring an overgrown lot waiting to be explored.

Inside that house, stories weren’t just told—they were lived. Tall tales turned out to be true stories, family lore passed down like recipes.

Mayfair might’ve been the name of a house, or even a girl—curious, bookish, full of wonder.

But now, she’s become something else entirely: a home for stories that make space for memory, imagination, and a warm feeling of belonging…whether you've known it before or whether you’re still looking for it.

every book is an invitation to come home to yourself.
